Join us on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 9 a.m. for the Lung Cancer Awareness Walk
Crossroads Campus, 127 Oneida Valley Road, Butler, PA 16001
Each year, lung cancer kills more people in the United States than breast, prostate and colorectal cancers combined. Early detection can save lives.
Independence Health System uses the latest low-dose CT scanners and advanced visualization to detect and treat lung cancer at its earliest stage, leading to more treatment options and potentially better outcomes.
Who should get screened? Adults aged 50 - 80 who currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years, with a 20 pack-year history.
The Advanced Lung Center at Butler Memorial Hospital has completed over 10,000 screenings and will provide counseling to 1,500 new patients this year.
This year's event will be offered at no charge to walk participants. Join us to help raise awareness!
