Join us on Saturday, October 18, 2025 for the first annual Lung Cancer Awareness Walk (Time XX)
Each year, lung cancer kills more people in the United States than breast, prostate and colorectal cancers combined. Early detection can save lives.
Independence Health System uses advanced low-dose CT scanners to detect lung cancer early offering more treatment options and better outcomes.
Who should get screened? Adults aged 50 - 80 who currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years, with at least a 20 pack-year history (packs per day X years).
Join us to walk and help raise awareness.
