About Us

The proceeds from this year's event will go towards Cardiovascular/Neurological Services.  Specifically, a Hybrid operating room for performing TAVR and other cardiovascular/neurological procedures.  TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) is a minimally invasive surgical procedure which repairs the valve without removing the old, damaged valve.  This is a much less invasive procedure and it is easier to recover from this compared to open surgical replacement of the aortic valve.  Our patients will experience faster recovery times and shorter hospital stays.
