Specific Purpose Funds
Unrestricted gifts are important to continuing the success of the Foundation. If you prefer to designate your gift to a specific purpose, these funds are established to raise funds in areas of specific need within the health system. The Greatest Needs fund is a fund from which departments may request funds for needs that they have identified. Funding requests are approved by the BHS Foundation Board of Trustees. The Caring Angel fund benefits families and youth in our community providing funds to the Family First Resource Center and the BMH Emergency Department. The Building fund supports the continuing renovations to patient care areas within the hospital. Healthcare is an ever-evolving field and it is an ongoing process to maintain exquisite care. The Women's Imaging fund supports needed equipment and support of the Women's Imaging Center at BMH.
The Palliative Care fund supports specialized care that focuses on improving quality of life and providing comfort and compassion to people of all ages with serious, chronic and life-threatening illnesses.
The Cancer Support Services fund supports patients with hardships experienced during cancer treatment. Testimonial
