What is Giving Tuesday?

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. Each year, on the Tuesday immediately following Thanksgiving, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

Our Campaign

Your gift to the BHS Foundation on Giving Tuesday (November 27) will help support the Caring Angel Program.

The community’s continued generosity has helped Family Services of BHS to provide support to hundreds of families and children through their programs. At BHS, we believe that families are the building blocks of our community. We also know that today’s families face more challenges than ever. Our Family Services Center provides programs to overcome these challenges. Our core philosophy is that building on each family’s unique strengths and fostering positive experiences will result in more rewarding lives – and a stronger, more vital community.

Also, the funds raised through the Caring Angel Program help to provide charitable Emergency Room care to children under the age of 18 whose parents or guardians do not have insurance or resources to pay.
